fewfew while I don't like what's happened to Lily and Cane, I think that tptb are writing this in a way to show us how deep Lane's love is for one another. All they wanted was for Lily to get pregnant. Now that's not possible, but we are shown that Cane's and Lily's love supersedes everything else. So while i'm disappointed with several aspects of Lane's love story, I do appreciate the way they are written, as far as showing the depths of their love. It goes far beyond the surface of things.

I know it is a soap but I think it will be very cruel for TPTB to destroy LANE in this s/l. If they had allowed her to keep her reproductive organs and able to start over with someone else and have a family it would not be so cruel. They have stripped her and now take her last chance to have a baby and a family too cruel

I just love how Cane loves Lily. He loves her wholly and solely. Incredible acting by DG and CK. Kudos to the writers for writing Lane how they should be written!!

I really don't think the S/l is going to be about LANE. I think it is created for angst for BAC. The writers are making it so plain that the babies are surely Lane's because Cane had already fertilized the eggs. He did not have to donate sperm, where a mistake could be made and the babies end up being his and Mac's, the contract is clearly written out, they keep referring to Colleen prophesy, they want us to be on pin and needles but I think it is about BAC.

What happen to Lily's mother and baby chain Cane gave her. She should be wearing it. He gave Mac a Kanagroo necklace. Don't be surprised that Lily will hold her baby right before she die. Just hope Y&R writers don't kill her off after baby is born. Clear the way for Cane and Mac.

leesajay I'm not saying that there won't be drama, but some people post up here that don't like the couple, so they try to keep things negative and bring out fan worries. Of course there will be drama, with this s/l but that is the nature of a soap. I just get tired of the naysayers and their antics. I also love this couple but I agree with lenja and drayee. a soap wouldn't be a soap without twists. I have a feeling something will happen. I'm not totally feeling Mac on this surrogacy thing. I know she's trying to do something great for Lane but something's just not right with her reactions (maybe it's the actress herself--I'm not her greatest fan!).

I only wish Lane love and happiness forever! But yeah, something's just not right. I would love to see the spoilers for this s/l.

I am going to bask in the moment for our LANE. I think the procedure will "take" and we will get our LANE Baby. The wildcard is Mac's ability to give that baby up. So glad to see Cane and Lily celebrating and hopeful about the future.

I love the realism of Lane/Mac involving a lawyer, Michael. Mac is really doing something wonderful for Lane. I again thank the writers for moving the Lane love story/marriage along with the natural extension of children. I absolutely love it! And I love Mac for what she is doing. She is one in a million! I love Lane and also how happy they are!

i am glad the contract is signed and over with. mac is an amazing person for helping lane i dont t think thank you is enough. but i am so happy to see lily smiling and laughing again cane to i cant wait see what happens during the christmas holidays and i hope the tranfer of the embroys is a success and lanes dream of having a child comes true.

I do too! I love their talk and it's obvious that Cane and Lily have discussed the possibility of Lily not making it. I'm glad they did because the last time we saw them, Lily had told Mac she could talk to Cane about it. Well, I'm really glad that she and Cane have talked about it.
