Yes, but only to edit. In fact, that's what I use for my LPs, and so does Tim. But to capture footage you need to buy a capture card. Alternatively, you could use an emulator (refer to NCS's "General Advice on LP'ing" playlist for how to capture that). But you won't be able to do pretty much any system that uses discs. So if you want to do Gamecube, Wii, Xbox/360, PS2, PS3, etc, you're going to need a capture card. They take a bit out of your wallet, but it really is worth it.
