  • hi im in usa nyc i have the 346xt br330t iuse the watson 889 super wideband antemnna bet we all from radioreference

  • where did you get the adapter from ?

    thanks :)

  • How Far Can IT go From The Airport

  • how much do these cost?

  • I bought this not long after it was released a good few years ago, at a cost of £149 - some places are STILL selling it for £200! Standing on the top of Otley Chevin in Yorkshire I can sometimes pick up planes approaching Heathrow. It's a great scanner, especially when you are near an airport.

  • just ordered w901 i been starting to get into scanning for some time now im only 16 been going to air shows and airports with the same scanner uniden ubc3500 xlt so far the best scanner i ever had at the moment...... how can u get lists on the scanner say for i.e. air band and such on coz its only have the freqenices i would want to know what im listening to could u either upload a vid or sumet to help me nice 1 man good vid btw :)

  • Freq: 25 - 1300 MHz ?? why dont you mention all the massive gaps mate ? also, no dual watch, no 1khz step, no ssb etc, these uniden scanners are not very good, the ONLY good point is close call.

  • Its uniden not uninden

  • Uninden?? LOL!!

  • Hey great video. Have just bought one myself. What antenna would you recommend for VHF etc?

  • nice scanner man, but thats not a basic scanner man...

thats odd mines got a Blue back light not orange

  • nice scanner man, but thats not a basic scanner man...

  • any news on part 2?

  • @olivermbs

Sorry about the delay, PC problems. Working on it over the next week. :)

  • @fighterNut66 sounds good, just bought this scanner, really enjoying it! :-)

  • Nice review. The 3500 is a great radio but Uniden suck... ZERO support in Europe, no firmware upgrades... if you live in Europe avoid Uniden products... "Adjust Error" says it all!

  • I can't wait to see Part 2! I'm planning on getting a UBC3500XLT in the Summer, I've currently got three scanners: Uniden UBC72XLT, GRE PSR-255, and the GRE PSR-282 (avoid). The 72XLT is my favourite, I just find Uniden scanners very well made, user friendly, and good for air band.

  • A very nice scanner. I've got a Uniden UBC72XLT which suits my needs with air band and close call functions.

Band 3 is supposed to be the one which best matches the UK/Ireland frequency lay out. But it works will on any Band plan.

  • Hey great video. :)

I am thinking of getting the UBC800XLT.

Can you recommend this Scanner or maybe even recommend a better one for around the price range between £200-£300. It would be great if you could help us out.

    John.

  • I have the UBC800XLT as well. Its an excellent scanner. I'll be doing a whole series of videos on the radio gear I have.

  • @fighterNut66

  • Thanks for the kind words. I'll be doing a second video on hooking up this scanner to a laptop.
