I really can't get past using the Soho in these demos. The stock sound just bothers me and doesn't really allow overdrives to sound how they will out of most rigs. I really prefer the DRRI clips.

@LearnChristianMusic1 honestly, a lot of overdrive pedals can sound okay with a line 6 spider. you won't get more than an 'okay' sound out of it though - don't put too much gain on and it'll get some overtones of the pedal.

How would you compare this Lovepedal with the Exoctic's AC Boost or Hermida's Zendrive 1 ? I'm looking for a high quality OD as my Maxon OD808 does not reach the "thick end" of what i'm looking for ^^

Amps need to be pushed to sound good. Hence the great move towrads low wattage "boutique amps."

And you would be surprised at how much better drive pedals sound with the amp pushed.

Is this the same as the Purple colour Lovepedal Plexi 800 pedal only it is in black. Does this have a true bypass? It sounds lots better than a tube screamer. In fact it makes a tube screamer sound like shit. I would really like to buy one of these mothers but I don't really trust demos. Can anyone tell me if it really does sound like the demo. I want to use it through a fender hot rod, trying to get some kick butt sounds, vintage rock, metal type sounds, will it do the job?

wow, that's some serious tone in that little pedal ..What a great pedal, it's like almost having 3 pedals in one, clear clean bite, righteous drive, and deep smooth run you over distortion. Most pedals like this can only do 2 of the 3 well, if you know what I mean..... and usually 1 or 2 tones in other pedals like this can just plain suck. You may get one good sound from a similar pedal but this one sounds great all over at any settings....

i threw a boss bluesdriver in front of mine and it couldn't sound more rock and roll. do you have the 50 or 100w version. I have the 100w so it doesn't break up unless it's ungodly loud. so I had to throw something in front.

'glass knob' is really cute..hey check 'glass guitar pick' vid -- glass retains the energy that is lost when a soft pick bends. A hard glass pick allows guitarists to send their amps into 'overdrive' from a cleaner setting. Glass pick is also like having a mini guitar slide at your fingertips! lol (think of the possibility)

electronically, the glass controll is nothing but a standard tone control. its not a treble booster and does not isolate treble frequencies. whats your bad source pgs?

Standard tone control? Not even close. A TS tone control is only useable on a small section of the sweep. the Eternitys Glass control sounds good all the way thru the sweep.

Thanks again guys. Sweet demo. I've played with the Eternity Overdrive pedal a bit, and it really can sound amazing with the right guitar amp! Tasty midrange and sparkling, glassy highs. Lovepedal is really putting out some great stuff these days.

i keep most of these demos on my iTouch. Some of the best demos on youtube. Great playing, as usual. It's nice, actually. This pedal, though isn't all that the hype made it out to be, though. Bit harsh on the higher gains with more treble.

With the drive up all the way it got a tad nasty on the treble, IMO.

Treble+distortion=eh....

Mid/Mid-high+distortion=love!

As with most Overdrive/Distortion pedals, it's best to use moderate settings to avoid those harsher frequencies. The range is there on the Eternity if you want it though! Thanks for checking out the demos.
