i own my own shop so i dont need to worry about any one taking it from me :) i own a pawn shop and we get in retro game's all the time just yesterday i got a sega saturn thats mint with 3 games dairus gaiden-galactic attack- x-men- all for $5 so i kep it for my self i played it all last night :) cant beat $5

But leasing space is a different story.

Lleasing in a mall is a crazy thing. In a regular storefront it's a different story though. Rock solid.

I weighed my options and went with what I thought would work out best. Currently, I'm not the least bit worried about my space being rented.

and yeah, can't beat $5 for a saturn. But i can't offer that at my store. I have to base it on the resale value and offer a fair price. otherwise my customers wont come back.

Good questions.

I've been here for 2 years.

Knowing when to move is different depending on where you are and if you actually NEED to move.

I have done pretty well here. But I felt that it would take too much time to really grow to where I want to be and the personal sacrifice of time, social life, and money doesn't weigh out.

in the long run, I feel like the mall will increase my sales and make me far more visible. this way I can better expand at a faster pace. So it's time for me:)

That's cool. Good luck at the Mall. I'm in Georgia and most of the malls around me are dying off. What's becoming more popular in my area are those outdoor shopping centers. We have these places here called "The Avenue" and those are where people are starting to goto and hang out as appose to the malls here. So if you ever expand into Georgia, you may want to try those outdoor places. Some malls in georgia are still popular like Mall of GA, North Point and Lenox but that's about it for Georgia.
