  • hey i've screwed up floppy power b4 and it wasn't hard to do as it wasn't keyed :P

  • So, he says the audio cables can fry the motherboard and that he promises he'll show us the right way, like it's a very cautious thing... then he plugs into the yellow connector. What's so scary?

  • The sound for these videos is absolutely atrocious.

  • @lutcher220 Wat

  • Who still uses floppy Disks

  • balls

  • OMG, this is awsome !!!!!

    All that details !!!!

  • If you put the headphone speaker jack in the wrong place, the likely even is that Justin Bieber starts to sing and you can't stop it..

  • @iwantpk2 MAKE IT STOP

  • Also, you guys should learn to manage your cables so it wont intrude the airflow.

  • Really like this video...a couple of things...he could have attached the cable to the floppy drive before installing it...makes it a little more easy. Sata connectors...be gentle with them.

  • what is that model 500 w ide cable?

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X10

  • @DeeJayMiikkii For a general use computer of 2007, it was pretty good.

  • Do all of those cables come with the parts or do you have to buy cables seperatly?

  • @ShiroiKaji To ensure that you have all the SATA cables, power cables, etc. Make sure you do not get any OEM hardware. If an optical drive or card reader says ''OEM'' then you have to hope your motherboard/power supply comes with enough cables. Generally speaking, each motherboard will come with at least 1 SATA III or SATA II connector, for the hard drive. In my case, I had way more than enough cables. These cables can always be purchased seperately on newegg if you find you dont have enough.

  • that right? if you order in the computer and the masters of the order or assembled cart with things at home?? sorry for my bad english

  • im bad at electronics / hardware i always get this urge to pull every component out of the pc boards... im weird. lol

  • Well done, this guy has done a good job, close up shots are really helpful in particular. One manjor fault though, the voice recording of hhis videos are useless. Could he not have the mic near him for his voice to come across clearly.

  • This video is really helpful! Also queston: Can i build a computer with 1 memory stick?

  • @newtowncolt1 yes, but depending of the size of the memory the computer could run quite slow

  • @newtowncolt1 yes but make sure it is at least 2gb u are going to need it

  • @newtowncolt1 yes. but having more RAM allows programs to process smoother. So yes you can use 1 stick.

  • sound card shmound card I hate sound cards. what is this guy saying?

  • Awesome video...A+++

  • All the things that tell you how to wire your system up is in all the guides/manuals that come with all the computer parts correct?

  • Integrated sound solution is better than sound card 75% of the time

  • Better? Nah.. But more appropriate, yes!

  • i like the casing poseidon 310 wayway better than this one. and the graphic card.. im using GTX 280.. it's nice. (:

  • Yeah, if you're a gazillionaire ;)

  • i agree that computer is shite way out of date

  • yeah I plan on building a Quad Core computer within a couple months and he didnt install a sound card

  • Is it me or did anyone see this guy install a sound card because I didn't see him install a sound card.

  • i love the part when he say "do not put these in the wrong place" *holding big hand in the way* yeah done.

  • rofl, i was hoping he'd get a better angle on that part.

  • this part is a bitch

  • i know dude!

  • if i plugged in 4 of the small plugs and 2 usb things

i would of officially built my computer by myself

  • I hate this part with cables S(

There are so many cables... I hope handbooks will help me =)

  • no the wire is allready in the hardware or cpu case. But the other should you need to buy, like power cable internal parts, sata cable and power sata cable.

  • So do ALL of the wires come with the hardware components or do you have to buy some wires seperately?

  • I'm wondering the same thing, can somebody please answer?

  • Most pc hardware components come with all of their own wires. E.g. Case, power supply, motherboard. Unless the product you bought is an 'OEM' product, it should include all of its cables.

  • he hasn't screwed in all the mainboard screws, that is stupud. When you are connecting the parts, you will bend your mainboard if you don't screw in all the mainboard screws. It can lead to a cracked mainbord, you dont want that.

  • well, thats just you. my m8 tried this, nd it worked first tiem!

  • Does it matter which way the usb headers are supposed to go?

  • i'm not sure. i have'nt done this yet. =/

  • Oh! finally the more detailed instruction on the power button connector.
