You are right! What happened is the editors dubbed in that music and had no clue what the salsa was. I know, because I appeared in a local TV show and it happened to me. They videod the dance demo then redubbed the music in and the music they picked did not match the dance so it looked like we didn't dance to the music

Wow. That sucked a lot more than I thought it would, and LeNique makes the costumes for the ballroom and latin dances on "So You Think You Can Dance". Randall Designs makes the costumes for "Dancing with the Stars".

@ budswdance2006: I'm not surprised they screwed up the music; they couldn't even get their plugs right! So sad these people didn't take the time out to learn the difference between salsa the dance and salsa the dip.
