Our familiy was so happy to move out of Newport, Oregon. Its a depressing city. Too many old people driving. No sunshine for months on end. Too many Newport police with nothing better to do than to investigate your children with DHS. Oregon loves all those illegal aliens who get free health care and services, too. Oregon kisses their ass. Too many lunatics on Prozac. Newport needs to be bulldozed and fir trees planted in its place.

Imagine how many people would die, the pollution, and the historical landmarks destroyed. While were at it, why don't we blow up the entire fucking world! @7514328, it is not depressing. There are barely any old people driving. No sun? Duh! It's the coast of Oregon. Maybe you should have read up before you went to the coast because the coast takes a strong person with a good personality and a big brain to live on.

You can not bulldoze an entire city, and why would you. There are at least 3 historical landmarks plus if fir trees were planted in its place highway 101 wouldn't go anywhere. Get a fucking life off of the internet.

my wife and I are moving to Newport feb or march of 2010!I'm real excited to be going home.I grew up in St Helens and in looking forward to living on the Oregon coast!
