Tegan said she couldnt relate to Superstar anymore and thats why she said she wouldnt play it right? But i think she has given it new meaning and thats why she plays it again yknw? Some of the lyrics are relevant again, she relates to something about the music again. And shes infused that with new emotion, which basically makes it a different song if you look at it on an...emotional level?or something...agh formulating thoughts, a hard task indeed xD

@NeverEverFaceTheDark pretty sure it was a crowd pleaser move and she was trying to play it the most bearable way she could work out. lol. dunno, she said she wrote it a long time ago and just doesn't think it's a *good* song... like it was too "spoken word" or something. funny that fans love it and she hates it.

hm, well, i guess i personally would disagree... i like the way the song builds on itself throughout and always thought it flowed quite nicely. one of the few songs with a definite crescendo, climax, and denouement... one of my favorites even if she hates it.

I've seen interviews and such where she said that she doesn't like to play it any more because she doesn't relate to it any more, so that makes it harder to play.
