Imperials would've lasted a little bit longer. Stormcloaks tend to whip out the ol two hander quickly whereas Imperials usually stay back and fire away, plus their bows do slightly more damage.

It would have been more fair if the stormcloaks started further back (bow range) and were more spread out in units of 5 or so. You placed them right against the giants feet all bunched up- Little more than playing around with the physics engine without sacrificing a follower, really.
