If you look up SUPER STAR in the dictionary you will find ENGELBERT HUMPERDINCK , my wife and i have seen him twice in concert , unbeleiveable voice and a great sence of humor . he is truly one of the last GREAT VOICES of all time, like ELVIS his music will live on forever . we love you ENGLEBERT thank god for all you have done for young and old lovers all over the world, keep going it will keep you alive, and us also

This wasn't filmed in Vegas. This was a very lovely Special from California. If you have ever gone to ballet, you would recognize the dancers moves, I felt it to be very graceful, certainly not erotic, not by a long shot. But forget the background, the voice is the compelling part of this video, and ENGELBERT sang it just beautifully. Wish his producers would film another. He is singing such a wide assortment at his shows this year, it would be fantastic to see it on DVD. .

This song takes me back to the late `50's when as a kid I heard it play in department stores, my Dad's car radio and just about any other place music could be heard. I always loved it. Early in the 2008 Summer I played this Englebert video for my Grand Daughter and NOW when she visits she says "Grandpa play that song ~ Take my haaaaand, I'm a Stranger in Paradiiiise". Borodin could sure write great music, Wright & Forrest fabulous lyrics and Davis & Lederer adapt all into a classic stage play.
