Also, try searching for the 'Voices of Rock' tracks here on YouTube - some of these vocalist also have a showcase of talent. It's just that today's bands are gearing more towards the Indie music genre and signing up under smaller recording labels or owning full rights over their own music and performing in local public venues, but a couple of them out there are awesome.
