  • Wonderful !!!

  • @killkayla Those teeth at the bottom of the fitting he was talking about.

  • Hi, i was wondering if you would be able to contact me regarding your prosthetic limb, as I am doing a extended project qualification based on lower leg amputations, prostheses and aftercare and it would be a great help if you could give me any information to go towards my end report. Many Thanks

  • my name is melissa, i would love for you to email my son, who is 7 yrs old. we have been thinking he needs to get a prosthetic for knee down. he is very resistant about it. i would love for him to communicate with someone who does have a prosthesis. thank you

  • @gumballfan11 He died December 5, 2010

  • Great video ! Always looking for that perfect prosthetic, what prosthetic company do you attend??

  • I have a uncle who might get his leg amputated we have to deside for him we say yes but he is scared were you scared?

  • i know this might sem crude but how come a prostic leg dosent fall off when you take your weight off of the leg, i know they are custom fited and made per person but what actually keeps it on?

  • Im so sorry that he has to have that he is such a nice man

that technology is so amazing though!

  • i wish my parents could afford a nicer leg like that. I'm so glad theres people out there like me thanks for the vid dude.

  • I am a recent amputee due to septicaemia and have the standard prosthesis attached by a strap over the knee. It is a very poor device. I also have a waterproof device for swimming and that fits better with a ladies type girdle material over the the top section and onto my leg. It holds well.

So your lovely leg!! Is it available outside the UK? and also how much did you have to pay?

    Best regards

    Capt.. Martin Clayton

  • interesting. thx for the infos. Well, I have a unusual question yet unanswered. Could it be possible that with so much high tech material its possible to create a prostetic leg that lets you run even faster then with "traditional" legs ? i have no idea ... i heared somthing like that sometime ago and i wanted to ask. thx.

  • Have you heard of neuroprosthetics? It's where the limb is attached to your nervous system, and controlled by you. It's actually pretty interesting to read about all the new prosthetics technology, mainly how DARPA's doing it.

  • AWESOME :)

  • Thumbs up if he reminds you of Steve from Blues Clues!

  • So amazing to hear you speak of your disability with such openness and confidence! Please, my question is how did this happen to you?

  • hey ever fill it with beer? i would be so tempted to walk into a bar slap it on the counter and yell "fill 'er up!!" lol jks seriously tho that's some impressive tech you got there. just think in a couple years they'l have ones where you can actually feel and move it!

  • You are so nice! I respect you alot for this. really helped with a project of myne as well

  • FMA?

  • "Hi! Today I got a new leg!"

    lol

  • I'm a fairly new bka and I was just wondering what's the purpose of the cut out carbon fiber in the front and back. My prosthetic socket is just carbonfiber and I currently use a suction socket.

  • i respect you very much for doing this, you are such a nice man. have a happy holidays!

  • Hi, I've been given an engineering assignment to develope a prosthesis that integrates directly to bone for transfemoral amputees. I think that asking a few questions of the present prosthetic leg would help me design better.

I would like to find out what specific challenges you have in using this leg, like the kind of chafing or discomforts that comes with using this and if you have any sugestions to what you might like in a future preosthetic leg.

    Thanks.
