@jsbach120 I have a Eureka 1934A and a Sanitaire SC679J that use the same motor, the 1934A's motor actually spins faster than the SC679J's. they both have wood brushrolls but the SC679 spins slower, like it has a VGII in it.
I have a S670 too, ironically also with a metal fan (did these originally come with metal fans I wonder?! I kind of doubt it.. I wouldn't call mine loud, but certainly louder than this one. Nice vac!
Sounds a lot quieter than my S670 does! (Probably because mine's got a metal fan). My mother has a SC679 that she loves because it's so light. I did the same thing you did and replaced her brushroll with the VGII, and it does a great job on dog fur in their house.
@800kirby Yes, I have several that I regularly use, I like to switch them out and use different ones.

Hey Jeff, is it possible to put a sanitaire style rd belt on any one of koblenz`s commercial upright vacuums?
dirtdevil96 2 years ago
yes, it is... I prefer to use stretched out Hoover belts on my Sanitaires, works much better!
hoover1060 2 years ago
@hoover1060 does using a used hoover belt make the sanitaire run smoother?

I am very happy with the performance of this cleaner. Properly maintained, any vacuum will give good service for a long time.

not at all, it's similarly powered to a classic Eureka. It has good airflow, and doesn't clog the bag the way a 7.0 amp Sanitaire will

Forgot to ask.....where did you get the tools?
ttuee2006 3 years ago
tools were a gift from a friend, found in a thrift store...
hoover1060 3 years ago
@hoover1060 you could vacuum your vehicle upholstery with the hose and tools

That is a really nice sanitaire vacuum and it sounds like a old eureka vacuum=)

sorry what do you mean by "blender" motor, does it have a PM motor?
gajda1984 3 years ago
No, when I say blender motor I mean the motor is small enough to fit inside a blender's motor housing.
This is today's version of the old Eureka 1400 series motor
