It is true that there hasn't been a marijuana-caused case of cancer reported, but don't let that make you think it contains no carcinogens. Also, marinol (the artificial THC) is not worse than smoking, as it has no ill effects. It simply does not provide as good of results.

@neo2568 First I would just like to point out that I am pro-legalization and I do smoke marijuana. Marijuana smoke DOES contain carcinogens, and it does contain more than tobacco products. It is true that there hasn't been a marijuana-caused case of cancer reported, but don't let that make you think it contains no carcinogens. Also, marinol (the artificial THC) is not worse than smoking, as it has no ill effects. It simply does not provide as good of results.

Typical of the farmaceutical industry to isolate one compound and then get a patent for it. There are over 80 cannabinoids that are known, and only about 50 that are well understood.
Their interactions between them are barely understood.
