  • my droid video quality is better idk why

  • The problem here is whoever edited this video made the DROID Video 16:9. It is not 16:9 and is only 720:480 which is more like 3:2. This is why it looks smashed. Motorola made a big mistake by not making the video 16:9. C'mon who lives in anything other then a 16:9 world anymore. Wake up!

  • it's not as easy as you think it is by making it 16:9. It's funny how you make it sound like you can just make it 16:9 on a click of a button.

  • Look at the iphone's camera and compare to this.

  • I watched other videos of the droids video quality and none of them looked this bad...i think i'll take the others as majority rules.

  • so.....8 secs of video....and like 21 secs for crap.....

  • Clean the lens before taking videos / pictures, k thx.

  • this video is butchered by youtube (why no option for the full quality fersion?)

this video is 480x270, 15fps and the aspect ration is fubared (just look at the squashed cars.

the DROID original file would be much better quality.

  • for a phone it did pretty well for a Camcorder. of course i have had all the Palm Treo & palm Centro phones, and am using the SK LX 09 and the Android beats their Camcorder by a Mile. But it isn't as good as my Kodak HD Camcorder. but still i like the Drodi's Camcorder. nice VID.

  • poor quality , thanx for the test man

  • Somewhat choppy but not that bad compared to may other smart phones. Thanks for the video.

  • That's horrible lol. I can't believe they called this 5MP HD camcorder. Nokia N900 is 5MP and is way better. I think this Droid phone is garbage without the FREE Google Nav w/ voice.

  • The camcorder isn't HD quality; Motorola advertises it as "DVD quality" with a resolution of 720 X 480 I believe, and at 25 fps. The camera quality definitely could improve, and hopefully it's a firmware thing where it can be fixed with a quick patch.

  • I believe it's 24 fps, but that doesn't really matter. Anyway what does matter is that you can't really see the real quality because it still is a youtube video. Best is to go to a store and film some yourself.

  • did you make sure to change the quality to max?

  • Looks choppy.
