Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 review w/gameplay in HD

a couple things, first, i know it looks simple, especially to those like myself who've played the older games. but that just because of the streamlined tech-tree, parody-presentation, and snap-in refineries that everyone is so offended by. they snap in not because the game designers thought you were incompetent, but because it helps you save time so you don't need to wrestle it into position. yes the collectors are necessary for harassment targets.

and although i wouldn't call this a forerunner of next-gen RTS's, that doesn't mean it's vacant of any innovation. in-depth naval warfare, differing build mechanics, and emphasis on micro management (btw, difficulty microing is an illegitimate complaint IMO when the reward scales properly with difficulty as it does here.) not enough? basically nothing but graphical updates and patches were added in SC2, it's the top selling RTS right now. true innovators like C&C4 and endwar were junk games too.
