TheraptorXX, thanks Matey. Beleive it or not (and I understand the responsibility) but you guys were responsible for my current tastes in music, and my rather curious dancing techniques! All these years later, I just want to say Thanks for great times! You guys were stars!
@Roberto9722 if we are, I will. Unfortunately its a bit unlikely. Some of us are dead, some of us are bald, some of us are fat and I'm living miles away from the boys! Thanks for the comment, though! X
@Theraptorxx i originally come from Southampton, i remember the 'hoedown' tour @1986? i bought the t-shirt n the 'good times' EP. The Cropdusters live gigs were fantastic (even wen playin at 'the bridge' in Woolston!) I also recorded a TV programme off latenite ITV which a part of the interview took place in the back of the giggin van talkin about Johnny Cash... The Cropdusters were so seriously underated, thank god for youtube!
@Theraptorxx used to live in Dorset MANY years ago,saw the band quite a few times and best gigs i have ever been to :) and i have been to plenty when i moved away...can't get the bloody cd anywhere :o( and hey don't worry we all get fat and bald eventually i'm afraid :o( lol, doubt i could dance to the music anymore hahaha.....if you know anywhere i can get "if the sober go to heaven" on cd could you let me know please, would love to put it on my ipod.....cheers fiona x
Reported for explicit content. Anyway: this footage is from botermarkt @ Groningen. Can remember it was very hot, thank you for clipping my curls that day!
Great memories for me; Nightmare for my family made me think I could play the banjo, Kids, wife and pets go running for cover when I take out me old washburn!!!
Wicked m8 thanks for your hard work! Subscribed to ya channel.
Brings back so many memories, Salisbury and Poole Arts centres, The old Mill, The Rank! , god remember that? But best of all the one and only Pilley Club lol
Great posting. Hadn't thought about The Cropdusters for a while; introduced to them by my wife, Emily from Milford on Sea. Yesterdays Cakes my favourite. Saw them live in Southampton. Drive George Drive supported (knew Steve the guitarist). Or maybe BIC?
Love it still got the Vinyl too!!!Cropdusters rule always did and always will!!Chicken Train(?) Laser beam in my dreams would love to see that performed. lmao when I was at Endorset and some whippersnapper said Cropdusters are a rip off of Pronghorn went on to tell 'em the History of Cropdusters and Pronghorn; Yeah Cropdusters have made history and it should be taught in schools to all the ignorant.
chicken train that was it i really loved that tune shaun really carried it off , one of the best live bands around at the time blew many acts away , top tunes top lads.
you just missed em at Sixpenny Handley, Sadly Poor Cob is no longer with us in body but his memory will live on forever, Condoleces to the Cook Family. Anyway Myspace and Facebook! Look up The Endorse-it in Dorset page. Anyway sorry you missed one of their best ever performences of Banjo Hill!!!!!
Cob will be greatly remembered for his brilliant fiddle playing. I saw him many times in the Cropdusters. I think they were better than the Levellers!
Thanks Theraptorxx for the videos posted. Sorry to hear about Cob. I have been into punk music for thirty years, and I think you had the perfect mix between punk and folk music. Poppin out to fight a war is my favourite. Cheers!
