Hello Ryan. Nice tutorials I must say. However I have few questions. You have used the word "Thus" 3 times in this essay. Why don't you use different words instead of using "Thus" always. Can't we use other words like "Therefore", "hence" etc instead of using just "thus" always? And you have also used "It is clear that" 3 times. Can't we just rephrase the sentences instead of using "It is clear that" always?Won't be it a good practice? I hope to see your point of views here on my comment.Thanks
me again it is wrong to write on the other hand i think because in the essay we need to support only 1 point of view we won't be able to compare is't it?

Very informative video! Thumbs up! But I have a question. You used word 'analyzing' which is spelled lie that in US English. While in British English its spelled as 'anaysing'. Is it OK to use American spellings in IELTS exams which is run by British Cambridge/ESOL?
this video is very informative and helpful! thanks ryan! i hope i will get at least 7 in the writing section of ielts. i will be taking the exam this weekend.
its an excellent tutorial for us non-native english speakers
its amazing how often i come to a halt while writing because of the so called "writers block" . so its so nice to see how u overcome these "blocks" almost effortlessly the way you do ..like:
*using a clearly defined outline
*avoiding identical words in the same sentence and
* using linking words
it gives me a insider's view into the thinking process of a good writer
hey I'mn from germany and we have to write an discussion essay in the school and I will write a test tomorrow and that was very helpful for me thank you very much . ..
As far as I know, Either (CAN'T) or (CANNOT) are both true as the first is used in UK and the second is widely used in the US. and I don't think we can separate CANNOT as americans adopted it like that.
You cant even imagine how u help me with writin tasks! thank you very much! ive never knew some of rules uve shown. But now i know :]! May God bless You! Amen!
Hi EnglishRyan. Love your videos. Great help for students. I'm a teacher myself and I would love to be able to put videos up on Youtube. Unfortunately I'm a noob so I'd like to know how you put the video together. Can you point to a video that can show me what to do? You're doing it on Word. Are you using a camcorder? I apologise for my lack of technical know-how. I'd appreciate your help.

Yes it is just decide, at the beginning, which you will use and don't switch between UK/US.
