Hi tried downloading the drivers and i noticed it worked on Windows 7 PC with vertical scrolling but the vertical scrolling does not work in my hp windows Xp professional PC, i can only perform the left click and the right click. Any idea what else i need to do to allow the double scrolling which is the most important feature to scroll down and up documents and websites?
@xingxing85 No idea. i never ran into that issue before. Maybe try uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them. Maybe they didn't install correctly or something.
I installed all the drivers but it's NOT pairing with Windows 7... I already have a Apple Wireless keyboard paired but the Magic Mouse is not. Any help? :)
@freestuufguru Try going into the Bluetooth Properties and Making sure your Computer is Discoverable. This is Turned off By Default. This might help. The Magic mouse is a little temperamental. The first Time. I usually have to do it 3 or 4 times before it finally takes. its Not Perfect But it will Work. You just have to Play with it a bit.
@Pentazemin Yep! i had these drivers saved. once i realized the original links were dead i uploaded My drivers to Media fire under My own account. they aren't gong anywhere :-)
@GjonetoTV i actually just sold My Mac and bought a pc. :-) i used that Mac for over a year. that thing Gave Me nothing but problems one right after the other. and then apple and their updates good god. ware the heck is the quality control? i am an apple developer. i know what the future of Macs are going to Be and i don't want any part of it. i will take My new 6 core 16 gigs of ram system for Less than half the price. you can keep your macs.
Does this matter if using windows 7 on a PC and not on a Mac? What about the Mac OS X in AMWare on a PC under Windows 7, will the 2 finger page scroll work?
@SelectOMatic200 Not sure. they are Windows drivers so if you have a compatible bluetooth card in your machine then theoretically it should work. one thing i found in WIndows 7 is that you have to go to bluetooth settings and set Windows to discoverable. its turned off By default. the magic mouse wont find the pc if that setting is off.
@solidsnake58 just double click on the file. it looks like an rar file but it isn't. however this driver is included in the 3.1 and 3.2 update for bootcamp. if you are on Bootcamp but update it and it should work.
@MrGizmo757 I've got Bootcamp 3.0 and a 2010 iMac and I've downloaded and unpacking and installed the drivers. The 64 bit one does nothing but the 32 bit says the installation was successful. I followed all the instructions in the video and even restarted 3 times and I still can't get it to work.
@markmiraba if you install the driver and have a built in bluetooth card in the notebook. one tip about Windows 7 go into the bluetooth settings after you install the driver and make sure you turn on the option for let devices see this computer. or something like that. the mouse will not connect unless that is turned on. it is off in Windows By default.
well problem is u only get left click with magic mouse ,while in windows u need right click aswell ,i realy want magic mouse but right click migh be an issue.
@coldshot12 Your wrong. the magic mouse has right click and digital scrolling and multi touch gestures all that stuff. all you do is once its installed you just push on the right side of the mouse. even though there is only one button the sensors in it will know you are pushing on the right side and it will execute a right click or secondary click as Apple calls it. if you are in Max OS X you just have to turn that function on. in windows it is turned on by default after the mouse install.
@tobyxero you install you bootcamp drivers from the Mac os x install cd? make sure they are installed. then run apple update ( installs with bootcamp drivers ) and update bootcamp to 3.1 if in vista or 7. if in xp its better to leave it at 3.0 and install the audio driver and mouse driver seperate. i have both drivers if you need them. make sure u install boot camp in windows. just insert the os x install cd it will install them
@bayzarea925 i do have to click around on My machine. i don't know why but ive tried it other ways. its the only way to wake it up on My system. i don't know why.
@MrGizmo757 then try an SMC reset. That resets all of your systems hardware and won't have any effect on your memory and stuff. Helped me out in a couple issues with vista on my mac =P but i went back to XP. it might work with ou, your battery can't be fully charged. look it up on the internet and stuff on how to do SMC reset. Hope this helps.
@sendai790i gave up pc's a long time ago. My wife is starting to follow too. i own 3 and every one of them fails at doing simple task like printing or burning cd's its junk. these are all freash installs too no spyware or malware. and they still screw up. they cant remain consistant on anything. the whole time i use a pc i feel like i am working at it not on it. trying to make it do what i want. on the Mac it works without thought. you can keep your pc. you couldn't give me one.
You Americans love the sound of your own voice, WoW amazing you cracked the default password for all Bluetooth device's !!!
You Haxor, Hokzor you....
I noticed your mouse pointer is so sluggish & juddering, what you running Windows wind up edition ? should haveb spent your Dollar's on some better hardware to speed that thing up :-S
@monarch345 scrolling might not work without an aditional driver in some versions of windows. if you discover you have an issue. let me know ill give you the link for the driver.
@monarch345 jsut an update. i added the driver to the video discription. bootcamp 3.1 includes this driver. bootcamp 3.0 dose not. if you are running 3.0 you need to install this driver to get all touch functions working.
Hey man, great video. I'm connected to my Magic mouse (I see it under bluetooth devices) and it says 'connected' with the right name for my mouse but when I move it nothing is happening. I know it's connected aside from saying connected because it when I flip over the mouse the green light is solid and when I cover it with my finger it goes away. Any further suggestions? Thanks!
@lohiaguitar91 somtimes in xp i have to delete the device and pair it again 3 times or more before it works. i don't know why. i have a driver package that might work for you if you cant get it.
@nosipchuk no in os x it will work as it did before. the blue tooth settings in os x automaticly discover the mouse. so no problem. if you turn the mouse on before you boot os x it usually will alredy be paird by the time your done booting. for multitouch in windows thare is a driver package for that you can find it on google if not. i can upload a copy. works with xp vista and 7. but if you update bootcamp to the latest version you wont need any additional drvers. just 0000 for key.
The clicking works like magic...Thanks a lot!!;)

Impressive. I got it to work but no additional features such as scrolling but at least it's working no code to enter either. This is on 64-bit Win 7.
