Has anyone figured out that I was doing this with a camera strapped to my wrist, as in, my stance, sight picture, everything is impacted? For that matter, I was aiming through the viewfinder to insure that I was capturing this on camera. This concept and that of the scope cam videos seem to be difficult to grasp. I wonder why I'm pretty much the only person on YouTube posting stuff like this.
@tnoutdoors9 I have lots of P.O.V style vids posted and will continue to do so.I am very close to perfecting the wrist strap method you used in this vid and have made several other types of mounts for P.O.V. style shooting videos.I enjoy just about everything you upload and aspire to have a channel as popular yours someday.I made partner with probably the fewest subscribers in Youtube history and I am working on making P.O.V. synonymous with anad41775.
@tnoutdoors9 There are some kids that do something along the lines of this... they go by TheORIGINALNightHawk. They are just kids with BBguns but its still pretty cool
Yeah, that happens when I'm wearing a camera strapped to my arm and focusing more on the viewfinder to insure that the camera is capturing the action. Field of view is obstructed, and cannot get into a natural shooting stance with regard to my arms, wrist, etc.. Anytime I try something such as this, helmet cam, scope cam, etc., that is typically the effect....shooting quality WILL be impacted. Try it sometime.
You sure prescottbill? I would think that the lack of recoil in airsofts would offset the advantages. Maybe using the glock on steele is good for practicing how quick you can hit targets with the gun, and the airsoft drills would be better practice for spotting targets and hiding. But i doubt someone who does airsoft all the time and never practices with a real gun would do well in this type of drill. Both seem like they'd be very helpfull
Don't take this the wrong way, because any practice is good. I don't think your targets will be wearing bright orange, or standing still. Airsoft force on force training is still the most realistic.
For this type of training, I would use half size photo targets of bad guys and gals and hide them behind trees and other cover. Better yet, have a shooting partner set them up, so you don't know where to look. Put some metal behind them, if you want the feedback. Just my humble opinion.
more g19 videos please

@tnoutdoors9 Normally, I'd be like "Uh-huh, SURE..." but I've seen your other vids, you're not usually this bad lol.
So, POV cam strapped to the arm... not good! noted!

YES, that does appear to be either a squirrel or maybe even a groundhog. I had never noticed that!

On this video, not at all. Strapping a camera to your arm does funny things to your shooting stance. Definitely impacts the aim.

Good stuff man. Could you point me to a direction for the steel targets? One that can take up to .223 and 7.62x39.
I would really like the human 16x24 target you used.

Pretty interesting experiment. Looks like fun. The bright paint on your targets is a nice touch for the video.
I expect you to get a camera inside the Glock guide rod for your next video, however. :-)
