I work at a gas station, and believe me there are a LOT of stupid people in this world, and some dumb ass pushing the wrong button could easily speak, English, or any other language, not to mention, I also know one person (who speaks English) who can not read, so really you have no argument here against learning English, what you have is a video of a very stupid person... there are hundreds of them all over the world.

If you move to France your kids will learn French language easily but their mother tongue (American English) it will be at stake. Don't you'll wish your kids speak you own language??? And if they go to International school... most teachers are teaching British English.

Kids in Germany start learning English from the 4th grade, at the time they finish gymnasium they are already bilinguals.

The're others countries like Scandinavian, France, Switzerland where being polyglote is a normal thing.

One thing you should know, that if you travel to Europe, American English is disregarded as a "lower English" because most of the European are bilinguals and they learn the British English (original English language).

I move to Germany my son (an American teen) speak now English, German, French and Spanish. The last school year he was awarded as "Best Foreigner"student in gymnasium.
