  • Stupid question here... Where can I find the marvel pinball for xbox 360? Thanks Nick

  • @utubepunk It's part of Pinball FX 2. They have eight Marvel tables you can buy in four packs, they also have some single tables like Fantastic Four as well. My favorite is still Amazing Spider-Man. I can combo the ramps for days.

  • i hope they release a sequel i'm sure there are more WIlliams tables machines or IDK a Balley or a Stern versions, Zen Pinball/pinball FX and marvel pinball are proof that pinball games can still go strong

  • @bazzjedimaster You're in luck. They've recently announced The Pinball Arcade for multiple platforms that runs like Zen/Pinball FX where you can pay to unlock multiple tables. Look up "The Pinball Arcade" for a trailer of the first few game they'll have up for download.

  • I'm searching for Brett Rakestraw - Let Go plz contact me

  • hi does anyone know if the soundtrack is available? or has anyone ripped the songs? i want Brett Rakestraw - Let Go

  • Does it have the flipper delay like on the wii. Freaking unbearable! Click flipper button, second later flipper flips. Annoying.

  • medieval madness rules!

  • I wish i could find a copy of the ps3 or 360 version.

  • @BillyCauseyjr Try checking online if you can't find it in stores. Amazon usually has it. I have seen it in stores at Best Buy and Wal*Mart.

  • The wii version didn't have MM, NGG or TOTAN.

  • @elsquibbs This is a review of the 360 version. If you listen I say about the 1:20 mark I mention that the 360/PS3 version has three extra tables the Wii version lacks.

  • wwoooaaawww exelent,,, wanna a this

  • he's cool xD I meant that o:

  • can you have the boards running in TATE mode view

  • @Ganbareg Sadly, no. I wish they would have a TATE mode like most SHMUPS. But the tables still look good on an HD TV.

  • @PressStartComic i think they missed out big time not haveing tate mode in, makes a massive difference as im sure you know.

  • wich version i should get? PSP or PS3? by the way i hate jive time and i dont care alot about the cost.

  • @dav967 I'd go with the PS3 version, unless you do a lot of on the go gaming. The three tables they added were worth buying after I got the Wii version. The only thing they need to fix is the leaderboards so you can see where you rank with your friends.

  • VP + pinmame / vpinmame have the (full roms + full rom settings menus)

  • also has MM with out the beeped out part.

  • I have this on the PS2 and it's great (minus 5 tables), so I'm bit jealous!

I did have some criticisms: I was hoping for a "blackout mode" where you could reduce the ambient lighting in the "gameroom" to make the pinball lights pop out more.

I must also agree with PressStart about machines that play differently with wear and neglect. My final nit-pick: you can't change settings (eg: #of balls, difficulty, etc.)

Overall, I agree it's a GREAT pin-video conversion and the physics are excellent.

  • Just picked this up at ebgames for $15.00. Can't wait to check it out.

  • I just grabbed it on Wii... i wish i had a 360 or ps3 for the extra tables =(

  • You Lie!!

  • zen pinball is OK, but not as good as this.

  • I love this game. After playing all those violent fps games this is so refreshing and fun.

  • can you keep the camera static for the whole game?

  • Yeah, there's a few camera options, some that keep the camera in one spot and some others will zoom in on something like Rudy's face when he falls asleep for Midnight Multiball.

  • Well, if your near an arcade that has real pinball, I'd still go out there and support them. Not many places are offering pinball tables anymore so we need to try to keep them going.

  • Amen!!

  • that looks fun! But you can't emulate the true experience of Pinball on a console! But it's good if you can't afford and have enough space for real machines. :)

I'll have to check this game out sometime. Good review!

  • Looks like a great game. How much does it cost?

  • 30 bucks, I'm pretty sure I say it in the review, I also wrote it on the side as well. Best 30 bucks I've spent on a game in a long time.

  • Depends on which version you're looking for:

    PS2 $15

    PSP $20

    Wii $30

    360 $40

    PS3 $40

  • I will might get it for the PS3.

  • Hey, awesome. Thanks for reviewing this. I ended up buying the Wii version a long time ago and found the tables to be VERY well done (the physics are pretty darn close to the original, which impressed me).

  • The physics are really good, but I wish they had it that the machines would degrade over time.

The Fun House machine I played at PAPA in the C Division tournament was so unpredictable. When you play this version the left eject always bounces off the right flipper and onto the left one. The one I played at PAPA felt random, two times it drained straight center!

  • Ha ha. Well, you should just have "anal collectors-mode" where you get the games shopped out after getting on the leader board so many times. LOL ! :)

  • That really would be an interesting feature, though I think I'd be best to leave it optional.

Along similar lines, you could have a mini mode entitled something like, "Out of Order" in which certain elements are either not functioning (a bum flipper) or are acting erratically (a whirlwind spinner that never stops)... maybe. Anyhoo, very nice vid! ^_^

  • You want to know something funny, I was looking for a good review of this collection for the 360 on Youtube earlier today and couldn't find anything. It's as if the arcade gods have answered my prayers. Thanks for the review guys.
