I love this scene... Zidane acts so foolishly and pretends like no one is there for him, only to realize that he's no different from Vivi, and that he's being an utter hypocrite. Then every single one of his teammates show up for him and he disregards them. But then finally he realizes that he doesn't have to go on without them. The song just makes it gorgeous, it literally screams "You are not alone."

Gah i love this song and this game so much, my favorite by far in the series.. i dont think anyone can match the emotion and the simplicity of the characters while still installing the intimate relationships between player and characters. Still playing almost 9 years after release, god what a good game

I remember playing through the part of the game with this song, where Zidane keeps trying to make it through on his own, but his friends keep coming to assist him even though he treats them so coldly.

When Garnet showed up at the end, I cried a little bit. This is the most touching sequence in a Final Fantasy. Screw Aeris' Death in VII or Tidus fading in X, this blows them all away.

Yes it was the best part of this game. The scene, when Zidane was fool and walks alone, and his friends come to help him, makes me cry. It showed, that we are not alone, and that the friendship, is powerfull and strong.

Althought many entries on the series did depended on the cristals (the ones that come to mind are 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 (but in ffvi they were represented as the goddess of magic or something) and 9), ffix didn't depended on the cristals fully, it only really apeared in the end, thought the guardians were present in the game
