S-FOX, I agree, these kicks look much better than what I would imagine in old Okinawa. That's why K.U. is so awesome; it's classical AND contemporary. ;-) Now, consider that there are more than "kicks" in this kata and that the movements actually represent a highly functional two person flow that addresses common (habitual) acts of physical violence. I thougt koryu uchinadi is the old style of okinawan ti but tese kicks dont look like what you would emagine with old and okinawa
