As stated I use the modelling within the Boss GT6 and a keen ear to get as close a sound as I can to the real thing. It's all trial and error really. Cheers.

Hi mate. Thank you for your kind words. Yes, basically that's how I work. I just go through different sounds and then tweak them. It does get very frustrating as I can spend a few hours trying to find a sound with no real results. The delay for this song is set to about 430ms and not too strong. Just keep searching for those sounds, you should be OK with your unit. Cheers mate!

I think it was the OD 1 overdrive simulated in the Boss GT6. I can't be sure as I just switched on distortion on this occasion without noting what it was. I can't advise you personally as I have never worked with the Digitech and so know nothing about it's settings. I do need to redo this song as there is way too much distortion in the verses and harmonic section. Thanks!!
