I have a question, If the sound on the patch list is not what you like and you want to delete it once it is created, How do you delete a patch on the fantom?
Can you load your own sounds like .wav files to the fantom, and use them in your songs? If so, is it as easy as pluggin in a external harddrive and uploading the .wav file?

I followed your instructions and of course it works perfectly. I am going to check your profile to see if you have any other videos. I'm so glad I don't need to buy the drum expansion just to get better drum sounds lol. I really need some more effect sounds that are cool to insert in between phrases on hip hop songs and I can't find them on the fantom. Maybe I can create them unless you have a clip on it already! Thank you soooo much this is the best joint i've seen yet!! Luv this clip
Great video. I am having one problem. After I "normalize" the sample there is an initial clipping sound when the sample is played back. I followed the steps in the video exactly. could it be some other setting on my keyboard causing this error?
@kochman6563 Check your sample. Sometimes when we sample audio there could a little clip caused by how we sampled it or just adjust your start point just a hair and see if that corrects it.
@diazeo Thanks man! I redid it a couple times and got a nice sound now! I appreciate all the help your giving to us roland product users. Do you have any videos on using the fantom as a audio/midi interface with a daw, or know of any usefull info on the subjesct? Thanks again.... eric
@kochman6563 Hello, I haven't shown the Fantom G used as an audio/midi interface as yet, but as soon as I get back from my trip next week I will post one up for you. Thanks and take care, -Ed.
i want to make my own rhythmkit with samples, is that possible? i only know that i can put only 16 samples in 1 patch, is it possible to put more then 16 samples at the keys? because 16 drums is not enough for me, i want all the keys full of samples please help me!!!
@tuggietugg No, you cannot delete the sample after you make the patch. The patch is drawing the sound from the sample engine in order to make the patch and retain it. Check out 8:46 - 9:34. Thanks, -Ed.
This guy is a real b****.
