@caviano I have a moral issue with artists who knowingly steal music. Melanie Safka is not a millionaire either, and she wrote her own music on her own, unlike CunninLynguists. What makes you think that CunninLynguists is more deserving of profiting from the result than Melanie Safka? There's no logic or morals to that. In addition, I was posting a list of samples that I originally researched, as in I haven't seen this sourced anywhere, which makes this knowledge new to people.

If man's law, which is inconsistent and subject to whims of very imperfect politicians, determines your morals then something's wrong. It might be appropriate to call this sort of sampling "stealing" if they hadn't dramatically changed the song, but this hardly resembles Safka's original. I'm running out of characters, but the arguments for copyright in the art world are all laughable at best.
