i loved this thing i was able to get free internet for monthes on it. and then useing my cellphone tether in an dget it that way all to gether i got a year of free internet.
You never mentioned your actual Internet connection... I know you are not on dial up but lets say you have Comcast cable and have a good connection and it is at 6Mbs download... What did that 54Mbs from router to modem do for you? Just a thought!!! Think about it before you blow a $100 on a repeater... Guess that is why I am in business...
@terryfl64 yeah but without good 54Mbs reception all those shitty routers suffer severe packet loss. if the extender/repeater helps then why not. hows business?

$107? Got a WRT54GS w/ High gain antenna for about $45 (shipped) and it does all that, plus provides wired connections and several other services that your unit is not capable of. Research a little man, your dollar can go a lot further than you think if you look up a few things.
If I may ask. Is the N Dual-Band Wireless routers that are capable of receiving signal (around your neighborhood) and resending the signal( in your home) ??
yes is realy awesome, but i have a question do i need the direct internet conection from usually router o can i install that repeater and boost a external wifi conection without have access to internet cable... i want buy those one but i need to know that first....
It's not 54 Mb/s. It's 54 Millibits per second, Which basically means 54/8 which is 6.5 mb/s sec max, which will still give you the max speed out of your download, unless your internet speed is higher than 54 mbps, which I doubt.
