Yes! Your assessment is very fair. No one has EVER been successful in proving Karl Marx to be anything more than a confused DREAMER. However, no country practices PURE capitalism either. For example, in the USA we have a mixture of capitalism and "command"(state run) functions. (I hope I was clear. I am very tired tonight : )
sorry about the double it mustve been a you tube error. The song is parts from Hank Williams Jr's song Mr. Lincoln. You can listen on youtube its a great song. Sorry to do it really but i am in political depression right now and found some peace listening to that song while drinking a Sam Adams :-)
Here are some words that gave me comfort. David Horowitz was a leftist in his younger years. He was with the SDS. Now he opposes them. He says that the challenge is to teach the young how to cope "in a world that is (and must remain) forever imperfect."
He adds, "The refusal to come to terms with this reality is the heart of the radical impulse and accounts for its destructiveness, and thus for much of the bloody history of our age."
nice thanks !! just a question, if you couldve controlled the republican nom. would you have rather ran Ron Paul instead of mccain ? i hope we can both agree Paul would be better than BO ? see you around pal
Geeze. You're right on the money. McCain was too much the gentleman. I respect him for being a gentleman. But America needs someone to wake them up. This is a tricky business because we don't want to swing too far to rhe right either (and become an extreme right dictatorship.)
After the election I heard the media (guess who)said that McCain's campaign ads were negative. That statement made it abundantely clear that the media is full of shit! McCain should have taken the gloves off and attacked Obamas relationships with Khalidi, Ayers & Wright. McCain is old school and a gentleman. Why do these radical relationships not bother Obamas voters. Its mind boggling, bordering fantasy even.
Ninanwk, I see what you see. The left has pulled off the biggest coup in history. I'm kinda disoriented right now. But I think we should do what McCain was unable to do: get the facts out to "Middle America" and as soon as possible. The media is in bed with the hard left (and it HAS TO BE because of what the KGB did during the Vietnam years.) Google Yuri Bezmenov, KGB defector and watch interview with G. Edward Griffin. I highly recommend him. Please do it, if you have not heard him yet.
FARC seemed to have dropped out of the news over the last couple of years until Hugo Chavez started screwing around with Columbia not too long ago and claimed they were NOT a terrorist organization.
It looks that way to me too. I am still trying to figure it out. I think it has something to do with the way our minds become programed. I suspect its a "brain thing" and this analogy is useful in explaining it: "As the trig (or sprout) is bent, so grows the tree." Consider the concept of "brain plasticity."
The results of the voting in the election are in. Less people voted in 08' than in 04'. The youth vote never materialized. And the black vote was only a little more than in 04'. That tells me there was no big rush, to vote for two unworthy candidates. The 04' voters stayed home.
Thanks for the news, Auggie. I find this very interesting.
I hope you can understand my video. Think of it as looking at 50 individual pieces of a jumbled puzzle. Finally, the pieces are starting to fit. A picture is starting to form.
Thanks for sharing your German(?) with us. I love the German people (or Dutch or Norwegian... ) I am an American. I am a doughnut! lol :P

Mr. Lincoln I wish you were here
The Republics changed alot in a hundred years
I don't think its working like you planned
Mr Lincoln we sure could use a hand
Well at least we're right all we gotta do is tell the truth
He said youre living in the past you romantic fool
I said you got that right i lean toward the older ways
And theres damn few back woods lawyers left today
Now they sue the manufactures of the guns
Aint the law changed alot since 1861

Tree hugging, anti-government protest hungry Yuppies, and inner city thugs. Thats all the votes Obama needed.
