as beautiful a tribute to a lost loved one as has ever been written. lyric and melody both strike a chord so deep, expressing emotions hard to put into words. love this song, have to sing it at a funeral and i don't know if i can.
I heard this over 10 years ago when Bebo came to my campus. It was before 10 Thousand Days came out and no one knew who he was. About 10 of us sat on the floor in a circle around him and I'll never forget that concert.
This is my favorite CD of Bebo's. Even though it's about a younger woman, this song meant a lot to me when my mom was suffering from the leukemia that finally took her life.
She was real and had a wonderful impact on many people involved in Young Life, especially in the Kansas City Metro Area. She died at a young age and Bebo honored her with this song soon after.
Thanks for such information. Powerful song, there, that never fails to move me to tears, ringing a bell in my heart on my longing for my departed loved ones.
both of my parents have been diagnosed with cancer. my mother's cancer is spreading rapidly. this song just makes me think of what is going on in my family right now - and how God is still sovereign and with us - even when it seems like He's not here.
For my fellow classmate who has befriended me while fighting cancer and who is so sad for losing his best friend to the same. Hope you find yourself drawing closer to Christ through Bebo's authentic passion for the Lord through his gift of music. The Lord must be smiling.
it makes my heart........

Does anyone know anything about this song. Is Rita real and if she is, what did happen to her?
