the UK has a long history (since WWII) of taking a ´light´ Vehicle for patrol duty and special forces use and bolting on as many machines guns as humanly possible. It worked so they stuck with it. Not saying the Danish are wrong just that army's tend to stick to what the know has worked for them in the past. The Danish experiences will be different.
