Jesus Christ. I'm up at the door wondering why in the hell I can't open it and my keys were still in the goddamn ignition? I usually don't leave them in once I get out.
The most points I ever got in this game was 220 -- keep in mind, that was in the days BEFORE the internet, when one can simply go online to find hints.
Sierra fans, if you could choose ANY 3 VGA remakes of classic Sierra games, what would they be? Please vote in AGDI's poll! (Maybe Police Quest 2 perhaps?)
Link wouldn't go through so check out himalayastudios on twitter the link is listed several times.
I love how you were going to search for evidence, and then remembered that you were in your car! Great laughs and fun! You know you're not supposed to narc on yourself! Nice video, by the way.
I wonder if you could make the video Let's Play Police Quest 1 Original in as amny parts as it takes. I'm talking about the old typing version rather than the VGA version, which you already did. You can have commentary on that video.
I use DosBox to play all the old Sierra games on the newer PCs and Laptops in Windows XP and up,which allows the use of USB gamepads for better controlling your character over the keyboard,(I prefer the NES controller)and use of Windows MIDI drivers like Wingroove in conjunction with the MT-32 MIDI set in the game's option over the SoundBlaster option set here in this Let's Play for better music.
go to the Sierra help pages and the have a program the make icon links in Star menu that requites no typing or setting up DosBox just click the icons and play the games.
No offence mate but your a dork, its hard to listen to your commentry but given its the only police quest 2 walkthrough Im going to have to put up with it.
And what in gods name happeend to his corvette from the first game? looks like he traded it it in for a honda hatch!
In the original Police Quest 1 Sonny had black hair, he is blonde in this one and reddish-brown in 3 and the VGA remake of 1. I do not know any other game main character who dyes his hair as much. At least outside games that let you customize your appearance to hell and back.
Well, bear in mind, he dyed his hair blonde near the end of PQ1. Maybe the blonde hair from PQ2 was just residual from that. The hair color in PQ3 would probably be his "true" hair color, as renderable for the first time in 256 colors, and which was rounded off to black in the 16-color engine of PQ1.
I was going to mention that this game takes place a year later, but then I remembered Laura is the Gremlin, and she's the one who provided the bleach. Giving Sonny super strength hair bleach that lasts over a year seems just about right!
One character I can think of is in the Lucasfilm game Zak McKracken. One of the girls on Mars has a different hair color every time she takes off her helmet. If you do it enough I think she goes through the whole 16 color spectrum except for her skin color.
The japanese version of this game got raped. Take a look at it.

Sonny while single has a vette, soon as he gets hooked up with Marie he gets a practical car. And so is the story of life. LOL!!

I would prefer the walkthrough without the commentary, I found it very distracting and unnecessary.

I used to play this game on my uncle's computer at my grandparents' house. It was a lot of fun but I never got past the park part.

Is there any way to play these old games on Vista?

Apparently, Sonny traded in his Vette and it got sold to Pate.
