  • It's Fox News. Therefore, meaningless.

  • @deb1919, Fox may or may not put a spin on this, but any laws that limit our constitutional rights should be of grave concern. Attacking the messenger does not address this situation in any meaningful way.

  • Freedom of speech make this nation great nation, taking it away from us, we are taking it from nations our soldiars are fighting for...in otherewords,do not take away what you fight for...

  • Beside that Hospitals and nursing homes in lakewood N.J for health care were charging 35,hundrad, the way my son die in jersey shore university medical center, to me look like hate crime agains...tell me if i am wrong or for that am offending mention institutions?

  • "wouldnt they have to invade our privacy?"

.. no. the proposed purpose of the bill was to protect people who are "verbally assaulted" over the internet. if someone believed that they were victim. They would report their "attacker" to authorities... on the other hand, i do find it ridiculous that a bill like this would have to be made in the first place =\

  • You all hurt my feelings!

I'm gonna hire an army of lawyers to sue the shit out of all of you!

    :D

  • They are right, but they didn't tell you that News Corp (FOX News) owns MySpace.

  • OMG! Fox News got one right for a change.

  • is it just me or does this law sound like Minority Report and "thought crimes"

  • You didn't even watch the video did you? David Rittgers is part of the Cato Institute, one of the best liberterian think-tanks out there.

  • forget this bill if it passes im gonna swear up a storm over the internet, hurting as many people as possible.

  • I can almost hear the riots on the streets....

  • Holy shit! Something on Fox news that I agreed with. Will wonders never cease? Napolitano (and to some extent Glenn Beck) are the only people on that network that I trust at all (though Glenn Beck can be an idiot at times too).

  • California has already laid the groundwork for all kinds of suits. Parents are being forced to either let their Kindergartners be exposed to gay propaganda or leave the school. We see the stirrings around global warming and radical environmentalism. On the issues where politicians and radicals can not win they will instead silence the opposition because for them the debate is dangerous.

  • This will continue. There will be protests and then BANG! let the revolution begin.

  • With stuff like this going on, the movie Demolition Man might actually prove to be a realistic predicition of the future.

  • this is freaking ridiculous. are we really reaching this point where we need government to make sure people don't get their feelings hurt...

  • I don't know much about the Cato Institute, but what I've seen so far I like.

    Keep up the good fight!!

  • This is pretty fucked up stuff.

  • Freedom of Speech = Freedom to Offend Others = Freedom to say "Fuck You!"

  • LOL! YT censors "bad" words...

  • Hear, hear. Its amazing how many of the left and right still forget that.

  • If I should be able to offend you, why should I not be able to hit or strike you?

I haven't really grasped this. Can a jury can prosecute you without the victims approval, it's fucked up.

  • Vote Libertarian.

But I agree with Mag it's about time to live free or die.

  • So anyone who disagrees with the current administration and blogs about it could be in trouble?

They'll silence everyone but the DailyKos, Digg, and Huffington Post.

  • Should Napolitano replace Glenn Beck as the host?

  • Yes

  • wow that is the biggest bull shit ever

  • Maybe North Korea can prosecute GW Bush for calling them part of an "Axis of Evil"...ouch, that must hurt their feelings.

  • People, it's time to kick our own government's ass. It's been WAY overdue, and it is our duty.

D.C. doesn't care about following the Constitution, they are are only concerned with their own paychecks and grabbing any kind of power they can.

People, I urge you, stop voting for these fuckheads in D.C. You want real change? Start a revolution.

  • Well, I better use my free speech rights here while I still can. And here is what I say: It looks like it's time to grab our pitch forks and march on Washington.

  • Rebuttal: Fuck you Congress.

  • HR 1966

  • keep posting these. This is important. Let's keep them accountable

  • Already had Kirk on my RINO list, looks like I'll have to make room for Luetkemeyer. I hope those represented by these losers are calling them nonstop to kill this bill.

  • It seems they care more for terrorist rights than are rights they been taking away left and right .

  • Seems like Congress is responsible for coercing hate crimes. I might be committing one right now.

  • You offend me, I'm suing!
