@Liq0ur hmmmm, good question. does he mention it in part 1? my guess was hendrix used heavier strings then andy here. That full bend on the 2nd string 2nd fret takes some muscle even with .009s

This is brilliant. I feel it's bringing me alot closer to understanding some of the more subtle parts of this masterpiece. Jimi was a genius, but it really helps to have guys like TexasSRVflood, who can unlock just a few of Jimi's little tricks in a respectful way and help some of us mere mortal guitarists to get our heads and fingers 'round this song!
