why did mine end up flat??

i got everything right until the pulling bit, i could see the rose coming but then it all went flat ;( can anyone tell me why?

Three possible options:

1. You didn't hold the 2 pieces tightly enough together, close to the base of the rose. You also should pull firmly and fluidly, but slowly.

2. If you have a very stiff ribbon, or a ribbon with a wire it in it, this will be difficult as well.

3. Your ribbon is too thin (narrow) and managed to unfold at the middle.

you know like when you get 2 strips of paper and glue them together at a right angle, then you fold them over each other n you get kind of like a spring? lol ive proably just made it sound more complicated but i tried :)
