He tried to hold a toast w/ butter on a cat and shoot the kitty off the balcony, knowing that cats always fall on foot, he wanted to see if the toas fall w/ the butter up. But it didn't.
In my opinion, it's because the butter on one side of the toast, it makes it a little heavier, making the butter side fall always down, just like a shuttlecock in badminton. It falls w/ the heavier side down. Sorry for any mistakes, I'm PT. Hugs
