  • Bravo Sofi !! muy bonito!!

  • Is this in a book by any chance?

  • @oliveryan96 yeah it's in the Solos for Young Violinists..I forgot what volume but i'll let you know as soon as i find the book.

  • Good job, but you do a lot of accents, and you are fals sometimes.

  • Oh, amazing job, by the way!

  • Yeah, that cadenza is fun, but brutal. My favorite part to play by far is at about 3:41 in this video. It's the part at the end of the minor-sounding solo, when you have to quickly shift up to the high E and then back to the trill. *sigh* Love it.

  • Lovely, hard to find a good version that is not as fast as NASCAR on youtube!

  • ur a great player.

i played this when i was 14, but started playing violin when i was 12.

    gotta say, nice winging.

  • shoudnt have said "was" 14, i still am

  • oh my gosh my competition is on saturday and i cant get the cadenza part with the alternating double stops (the second part with double stops) but you went through it so fast and perfect! wow! i have to memorize it i have all of it down but the cadenza!! AH!

  • How did you do in your competition? I'm sure you did fine.

  • @sofaviolindanc omggg me neither. i mean...i can play it butt...it sounds realllly...Not good xD :[ and I have an audition coming up.....hopefully ill get it perfected by then <3

  • =D I'm also learning this right now and when I get unsure about how it should sound I listen to your version.

    its my favorite =)

  • i'm playing this song for a compertition but i have to memorize.. did u ever memorize it? great playing by the way

  • I didn't really have the time to do so, I had to move onto another piece. But I think I could play it by memory, hmm I really dont know.

  • yea im playing it for a competition too and i have to memorize it. i actually learned this piece in less than 3 weeks!

  • How long have you been playing?

  • oh that's cool :)

  • wow great job! i'm doing this piece next month and ive been looking up videos making sure im doing the right rythmm! haha ur a good reference!! how old were u when u started?

  • i started when I was eight too and I'm playing this piece now and i'm 12. the cadenza's rele hard huh?

  • Well I didn't really have trouble with the cadenza. But that's great that you're playing this right now. Hope that my video helps you.

  • r u sure you didnt? well everyone's different and it did help me

  • Its only because I had been practicing double stops a lot in a different song so these weren't too hard for me fortunately. I'm glad that my video helped you then. Keep playing music that you love.

  • I love it! Good performance. ^^

  • Thank You!

  • My comment is directed at "svejelka" by the way... Go Sofia!!!

how long have u been playing? ur tone is so nice!

  • eight-nine years now, so not as long as other people who start at like 4-5 years old

  • Yeah, she did. It actually made me a little nervous but then it went away.

  • Question: did the pianist mess up in the tutti? O.o

  • Wow. you played fantastic ^^

Especially the cadenza part at the end. Good job!

  • Thanks! I worked really hard on the cadenza.

  • Nice Concerto ! Good rhythm
