I was T-boned at 35mph by a Ford Focus and lived. The driver of the other car couldn't get out because his frame was so bent up and the ambulance people thought they would have to cut me open and I was fine while the other guy was in so much pain with a broken hand. A head on they are also very safe but thankfully I have not had an experience with that type of collision yet. Also, about the pick-ups, my second accident involved a Ford F350 and I came out better than he did.
