My old flat mate had one, in guards red, which was bored out to a 2.2 with race exhaust and 15" Fuchs over the original 14" Fuchs and it was one of the nicest sounding vehicles Ive ever heard :)

And I'm fully with you all on the engine noise versus music thing but I'm afraid that the audio from GoPros isn't at all good. It's not a professional video, just something I shot and edited. HC

I have a rich friend who bought a new carrera 2, but after he test drive other friend's 993............he sold his 2010 carrera 2 and bought himself an used 993 turbo.

Child? really? All i did was express my opinion about a horrid, miserable, S L O W, unsafe, U G L Y, weezy, stupidly designed, tail happy, death trap car. I didnt attack anyone personally. Certainly not attacking anyone who owns one of these either. Its their choice if they want to be seen in one of those. Newer ones are great, I have a 2003 GT3. But the old ones? PASS. I prefer to still be alive after driving a car and tend not like dying in old shit boxes...

@rev2xs I've driven the newest carrera rs, and its awfully boring in comparison to my 73 carrera rs (often considered to be the best sports car of all time). If you were a true 911 fan you would love then, much more interesting than the over sized, boring, heavy, water cooled businessman's cars of today.

it's so that you can see it better. your hands always get in the way of the speedometer when theyre on the wheel in old 911s, so some owners turn the speedo sideways.
