  • I never tire of looking at this Meg. I just wish my son was still alive. Saying that, he'd love this!

  • Last year, I was looking for the picture of a Wiccan soldier's headstone to carry with me in my Wallet as they are one of only many unsung heroes of the War. The first one I found was SGT Schumann's. I've since carried with me as a reminder that all things end, both the bad and the good and to never forget our Soldiers who fight for us and that they are not just names on the news, or names on a wall of remembrance they're sons, brothers and fathers. I'm glad I found this video. Very nicely done.

  • im sorry for the loss of your son I have also lost many close freinds overseas i know anything i can say its fruitless but for what its worth, your son is a hero to me and ill never forget what he gave im leaving for basic soon and if i get sent overseas i wish not to avenge your son, but in his memory and honor live my life out in a meaningful way, and making something out of myself, im extremly grateful and indebted to your son and all soldiers everywhere. All of them give some but some give all

  • Candie,

No words could erase the loss of Jason. He will always be remembered. You must remain strong & know that his life will continue in the hearts and minds of those who loved him. I know the pain, grief and helpless that could overwhelm you at the most random time of the day. While I was in Iraq, I lost 11 Marines and a very good friend- a brother- my fellow Corpsman, Doc Zachary Alday. My prayers are with your family.
