Lennon's best songs dont have to have a lot of lyrics, or a complicated message.The message is simple. He conveyed what he felt perfectly, with no frills or mincing of words ; direct. Lyrics like "the sun will never disappear, but the world may not have many years". Where did he pull that from after personal lyrics about being isolated. It is some of the best poetry

He's incredible. People say he's a god and I understand where that's coming from -- he was a musical genius. But, he wasn't a god, he was a real guy, with real perfection and real imperfections. I think that's partly why his music is so great. He was real. He put how he felt into his music and it was beautiful. I will forever look up to this man. And I'm fifteen and wasn't even alive when he was -- yet I miss him.
