it' so funny, i've been watching Y&R all my life and i recognize all of them and three of them are still on but i don't recognize any of the GH actors. i didn't watch then but i watch now and none of them are on there anymore.
You know that's Jason's father (Michael's grandfather) and Carly's mother on the GH team, right? These were actors who had been on since the 70s until Brian Frons decided to fire them because they are "old". Also, Scotty Baldwin is Laura's first husband and Courtney is Nikolas's first son's mother - Sonny's sister.
@GenXorcist1976 i do know who Courtney and Alan are but mostly by ways of youtube clips. and i do know who Bobbie is, she was on when i first started watching, mostly just as background though, but i don't know why i didn't realize who she was when i watched this, lol! thanks for the info though... i think i saw Scotty on that old eppy they played a while back. can you tell me who the other man is?
Sure. He played Marcus Taggert, a character like Spinnelli or Robert Ford on OLTL where they mostly referred to him by his last name, "Taggert". He unfortunately didn't have much of a story beyond trying to nail Sonny and the mob folks for their crimes (he was a police detective) and he did have a romance with DA Dara... forgot her last name... the role was unpopularly recast when he left and this actor (Real Andrews) showed up on a few other soaps I don't watch.
Basically... Yes, all 4 ABC Soaps (including the now-cancelled "Port Charles") were given so much more attention and care back in 2002 than they are nearly 10 years later - when they're all practically gone. SIGH... at least I have my memories. :(

An episode from Karn's first season, the only season where he did good. He layed off the caffeine highs, he should've kept it that way.
