An easy / accurate way to make the miter a little tighter is to wrap the tube you are joining the mitered tube to in sandpaper and use it to clean up the edges.
first I'd like to say that I thoroughly enjoy your videos and slap dash approach but try just filing a mitre without "tube mitre" it's a soothing and creative experience. I use the Dremel a lot but notice that I usually grab it when I get impatient and often regret having used it.
I like how you had the camera "mounted" to the grinder for the play by play action. Real exciting.
