  • "i will try to show you...not in the shower!" *snaps* lmaoo

  • @alexxxhes loool, hey girl, thanks :-)

  • can you store the poured tea for future use or do you have to fresh brew?

  • @specialtouch31 i use a fresh one, it doesn't stay very well

  • I can I use other teas as well or is it just the Black tea?

  • @ladyEulaelie i never used other teas, let me know if you test !

  • i use black tea, too. i noticed my ends were incredibly strong in shorter amount of time. i like lightly spritz my ends a couple times of week and seal with castor oil. sometimes i spritz my scalp a couple of times a week to help with the shedding.

  • @dajewel1982 yeah i had someone telling me about using it in a spritz bottle, i might give it a try...how do you store it?

  • @nunaavane yeah give it a try. since i don't add any preservatives, i just store it in the refrigerator. this will make it last for months. hth

  • @dajewel1982 thanks a lot :-)

  • I do a similar regime to yours. I use the black tea as a final rinse and after towel dry the hair its certainly strong and soft. I noticed after air drying my hair (it's relaxed) it was thick in comparison to before. I obviously sprayed my apoghee leave in conditioner, moisture my hair and sealed it with oil. It certainly is thick, soft and very moistured. Keep up with your regime... I certainly have learn't a lot from your version of using black tea as a final rinse & it has proved successful.

  • @Tatiyana awww thanks a lot, we def have the same technique here, lol :-)

  • Hey Nunaa, comment tu va ? Thanks for the tip, great video coe d'habitude. I'll try that one, my hair is doing so much better, thanks 4 the encouragement. Do your thing hon. God bless.

  • @bimicheful awww thanks so much sweetie, that is so nice :-)

    be blessed as well :-)

  • I have learned so much from this video. I will definatly be trying a black tea rinse this sunday. Thankyou so much again nunaa.

  • @baby2o6 thanks 2 u for watching, hope you'll like it :-)

  • were do u buy the long term leave in conditioner i can never find it anywhere and i wana try it

  • @sanaijackson on my trip to NYC or get it send from Canada

  • You remind me of my friend from Africa and very animated as well. Ok keep up the great tutorials.

  • @blcherki thanks so much girl, lol, we do are :-)

  • I found whilst making your tea rinse add 1-2 tablespoons of natural honey to the mixture, that help stop the drying protein effect of the black tea rinse.

  • @BlackRose938 oh really? good to know, but do you think it will work if i leave it on? (as i said i do not rinse my BT out) thanks a lot

  • @nunaavane Hi , no this will only work as a good method if you apply the tea rinse inbetween the conditioner and the final rinse stage like me, of course it you leave the tea rinse on, then this would not be practical . just very, very sticky lol ?

  • @BlackRose938 oooh ok, thank you so so much, i like it when you guys share stuff with me, i always learn :-)

will try that next wash day (saturday oct the 2d) :-)

  • @nunaavane Your most welcome sis ! that's my hair wash day aswell lol .... happy tea rinsing !! :0)

  • @BlackRose938 lool, happy hair wash day to you too :-)

  • Nunaa sorry I have one more stupid question. Did you put the tea in the fridge overnight oor did you just let it cool at room temperature?

  • @whitemenaresexy loool, it's not stupid : the answer is room temperature :-)

  • @nunaavane ah ok. Thank you. :) I plan to shampoo, tea rinse, then light protein and moisture dc..eee. I hope it will turn out ok :/

  • @whitemenaresexy as usual sis keep me updated :-)

  • @nunaavane thanks Nunaa. I did it and it reduced the shedding. I am pleased. I am going to keep doing it until it stops shedding completely. I used it a bit similarly to Tracy though. I used it in between conditioners. Too chicken to leave it in my hair like you do. :/ Thanks again

  • @whitemenaresexy well guess what? i might try it the way Traycee does hers too, thanks so much for always keeping me updated :-)

  • Once again Nunaa to the rescue. I just have to touch my hair and it comes out in balls! :O not ok!! Just ordered some black tea. Plus Nunaa, I found the keracare hydrating poo without sulfate, and the humecto without mineral oil in UK, maybe you can find it in france too.

  • @whitemenaresexy i'll try to get it in Uk :-)

thanks a whole lot for the update, pls let me know how you like the black tea rinses :-)

  • Does Black Tea Rinse strengthen your hair as well?

Don't you think it would be easier for you to apply the BTR using a color applicator bottle? That way you can concentrate on your scalp and stuff.

Do you still do the BTR? I just noticed that you made this Tut in May. LOL

  • @BarbeeLuv1 well it really does, i just did one yesterday ! i really love it, i will keep on doing it that way, just because i leave it on, i am in the shower & i get it EVERYWHERE, scalp & hair length :-)

i do them at least 2 x month as a final rinse yes

  • Does Black Tea Rinse strengthen your hair as well?

  • did the black tea rinses darken your hair?

  • @BabeyCakess96 not really, check out my latest vid on my hair progress, you'll see the color of my hair

  • how often do you do black tea rinses ?

  • You're hair is looking great! You are really dedicated.

  • @JeramyEdison thanks a lot :-)

  • How often are you doing the Black Tea Rinses? Your hair does look very soft. I'm so sorry I didn't start the Black Tea Rinse when you started. I did it and felt so stupid that I didn't try it sooner.

  • @tamoniva12 hey sis, i do it 1 x week (well i try to do it at least 2 x month) hope you'll try it & let me know

  • you are verry cute!!

    greetin from germany!!

  • @carabandunga thanks a lot :-)

  • Love ur accent!

  • @slstewart01 lol, thanks

  • wow black tea bout to try this

  • @astrozier1 great....let me know how u like it....

  • the black tea doesn't make your hair feel stick?

you leave it in until you wash your hair again?

  • @rayviebabiie23 my final wash is the tea, then i apply my leave-ins, air dry etc.... moisturize & seal 1xday, until next wash

it penetrates the hair shaft like water does !

  • so are you still doing the black tea rinse?

  • @LYNETTE875 yes, every time i wash my hair... about 1 x week (or every 10 days bcz of school busy schedule)

  • I think it would be effective to use the black tea in a spritzer bottle and then it can be a "Black Tea Leave-in". But this is great!!! I'm going to use the black tea as a spritzer. Great video!

  • @DSkillz2010 thaaaaanks ! what a good idea ! i am going to do that tomorrow morning ! lol, thanks so much ! ! ! yaaay ! !

  • @DSkillz2010 I do the same, but I use green tea instead of black tea for my spritz.

  • @waltbaby08 how do your hair reacts with green tea? last time i hesitated, i wanted to use green tea but i was sceptical... tks in advance

  • @nunaavane It makes my hair softer and my scalp itches at less now that I have been using green tea in my hair. On the few occasions I need to rid my hair of knots and tangles, I will use the green tea to help me.

  • @waltbaby08 tks so much girl, i will def go for that :-)

  • @nunaavane Green Tea actually increases shedding...dont use it. Use the Black Tea instead.

  • @ladydipset88 ohh really?? well i am torn now...

  • From what I'm gathering that the black tea rinse is only good for those with perm hair?

  • @mishsamuels well i never heard that, natural can also do black tea rinses, but hey, i am relaxed, lol, so maybe do your experience & share with us :-)

  • can u use any tea bag, and how many tea bags do u use?

  • @SingingQueenify yes you can, my hair is not that long so i only use 2 tea bags

  • do u have to shampoo and deep condition before putting the black tea bag in the hair when appling black tea bag do u leave it in the hair or wash it out after if you leave it in the hair do you add regular moisturizer to the hair

  • wow! that's such a small amount of hair for you to be so far post. thanks for the video, makes me want to try it out :)

  • Your hair is really growing! Keep up the good work.

  • "Not in the shower...hmmmmm..freaks" lol. Love your personality.

  • @xquisitty lool, thank you :-)

  • Girl your hair GREW! Is that due to the Black Castor oil? I plan on using it this week.

  • @DivaLady2b well it def HAS something to do with the whole growth, but there is no miracle product that will grow hair like a charm, it's more about consistency

so if you use it on a regular base, you WILL see a change :-)

    have fun growing that hair

    xoxoxo

  • you know the regular lipton tea has more caff in it and i spent more on that black tea.

  • @jungirlfriend10 yes right it has more caffeine in it

  • @Spurslady123 you're more than welcome, so glad it worked for you :-)

  • Nuna, I had finals this week and I will contribute a lot of my extra shedding and a bit of breakage to that... I will make sure to try this :) thanks so much for taking the time to deliver all this great info!!!! God Bless :)

  • @starrynightgogh you are very welcome, hope the finals were good...

    be blessed

  • @picpeach thank you :-)

  • hi nuna, can the tea rinse be used with the henna or cassia treatments or should they be used separately? Thank you.

  • @1krzypraz hi there, it can be used together to my opinion, as i PERSONALLY do my henna glosses every 4 weeks...

what i plan to do on my henna day : henna gloss, co-wash out, deep condition with moisturizing conditioner, rinse out, then black tea rinse :-)

  • HI Nunaavane, if you use a henna or cassia gloss, does the tea replace those treatments or can they be used together? Thank you.

  • Thanks for this video. I have been having a bit of shedding and I intend to go purchase the tea tomorrow. Nuna to the rescue again. LOL.

  • @APRILINLA loool, thanks a lot girl

  • @picpeach no pb, i always respond as long as i am given the strength by the Lord above :-)

  • @picpeach hi there, i will ALWAYS use the henna, lol, the tea will just be a final rinse, after my wash is over ! like i usually rinse my hair last with cold water, now i will rinse with tea :-)

henna has nothing to do for me, it is always every 4 weeks :-)

  • great video, i'll def be doing this. ya hair lyks gorgeous sis and i love it.

    Mwah..............mwah

  • @LadyCuter hey sis, how r you doing? love you and tks

    mwaaaaaahz

  • great video, i'll def be doing this. ya hair lyks gorgeous sis and i love it.

    Mwah..............mwah

  • I like the way you are minimizing manipulation of your hair (i.e. air drying, relaxing every 12 weeks, low combing styles) and deep conditioning. That is why your hair is thriving a lot :-)

  • @curliefro ABSOLUTELY ! oh my, thanks a lot ! this will be my answer from now on, to all of my new subbies, lol, i am copying-pasting it right now :-) lol

    tks a lot :-)

  • i saw Traycees vid on the rinse too. This looks like something I shold try LOL. I like the way you did it and im glad its working for you. They sell Lipton in France?? LOL

  • @missthis897 yes ma'am ! they sell it everywhere, lol

thanks a lot, hope we'll see your review on it :-)

  • your hair is looking sooo thick and full. you're doing a great job! i did a black tea rinse last wk and luved it-it made my hair feel really strong!what relaxer r u thinking of switching to?TIA

  • @Econmajor88 i think switching to Affirm, video coming in a few moments :-)

  • U r so genius with editoring your vids

  • @malulu21 lol, thank you so much, it is quite a job, lol

  • Yay! Something new to learn. Your hair looks great for 11 weeks post., Good job girl.

  • @tamoniva12 thank you sis :-)

  • I wish my hair will air dry that nicely.

  • @ericaj58 thanks :-)

  • Sis you are always divalicious! Your hair is lookinng nice and thick.

  • @naturalbornqueen heyyyy sis ! thank you :-)

  • When you did the tea rinse, I didnt see you mention rinsing the tea out of your hair. Do you leave it in and let it air dry or rinse it out? I never heard of this treatment. I think i'll try it out tomorrow ; )

  • @Only1Meya well i said it just stayed like that with the towel, lol

    i leave it in

and i also explain traycee rinses it out when i don't :-)

it REALLy is a good treatment, let me know when you try it out :-)

  • does you daughter speak English also?

  • @MsLuckycharms87 she is learning ! but i want to live in London, lol, so she WILL speak english ! lol

  • brasillllllllllll...kkkk

  • @lacipri66 looool ! yesss ! i can't wait to go there :-)

  • How long did you leave the tea on? Great video.

  • @qhairful thanks for the question, i will put that in a subtitle

it satyed here about 1hr, well until my hair was almost 99%dry, lol

  • did the tea stain your towel?

  • @sashlav04 absolutely not ! !

  • Tes cheveux sont trop nice!!!

  • @Loica12 merci :-)

  • do you think I could use green tea instead?

  • @michikobll i don't i really don't know, try & keep us updated :-)

  • SO you didn't rinse the tea out?

  • @PlusSizeBarbie100 NO i left it in :-)

  • You hair looks great Nunaa. Thanks for the challenge!

  • @j80edwards thank you :-)

  • Loove your video's...thanks for the information, informative!

  • @zfikelepi tks for watching :-)

  • hey nunaa you can also add the black tea to your henna too! great video i will try this rinse too!

  • @MsHairGuru yes i heard about that, but i really love the original color of my henna so i don't want the colouring of the tea :-)

let me know when you do?

  • Hair looking Great! Love the blue Nike track jacket very nice on you! Very nice to see the special effects of the black/white video in the shower- you got skills! By the way, I love ice cream too (lol)- pichashio almond!

  • @sweetfm2008 looool, tks a lot girl :-)

  • OMG! I love that song...cracks me up...Well, you have REALLY made me feel better about my shedding.... I am 11 weeks post and I've been VERY concerned about my shedding... so much that I have an appointment with a dermatologist in a couple weeks. But I shed about the same amount you did during my last wash! Whew! I guess I need to know how much is "normal"... thank you! GREAT progress and info!

  • @mehonesty so glad you are on a good path with the shedding, going to the dermatologist is a great thing :-)

i loooove that song too :-)

  • doesn´t hair become redish when light hit tha hair?

  • @AMIRA789456 ??? what do you mean "when light hit that hair" ? like outside under sun rays? well i heard black are darkening hair

  • LOL at the way you said that you can "find Lipton in every country". I am sure if you had not said that someone would have definitely asked where they could find Lipton tea. I thought that was so cute.

  • @j80edwards looool, sooo true ! ! someone would have ask :-)

  • love it Nunaa, your hair is looking great:~0

  • @jungirlfriend10 thank you :-)

  • Nunna, I have to try this. but I have the garlic in my fridge that I still going to do this week. You also have to let me know what works better, the black rinse or the garlic? I love this video it was very informative by the way your hair looks so full and longer too can't for your relaxer results

  • @MsBronxgoddess i think the garlic works better for me... but i looove the smell of tea, and how sooooft my hair gets afterwards...so, lol
