McCain sounds like a Bush clone. I could have sworn i recently heard about some violence in sadr city. That is the home of that muqtada al sadr and he's saying it is quiet. Wow with this guy we are just gonna have another misrepresentation of facts just like we have had for the past eight years. He also wants to keep Bushs fucked up tax cuts which only benefit the richest one percent of America.

It has succeeded in bringing violence levels to the lowest point in 4 years and has led to numerous acts of political reconciliation. By July all of the brigades sent to Iraq as part of the surge will have returned home. You can argue and parse these words all you want, but Obama was wrong about the surge, he is wrong about withdrawing troops, and McCain was right all along.

Just a couple hours before he said this, a suicide bomber killed 16 Iraqis outside a police station in Baghdad. So not only is McCain not aware of our current troop levels (and therefore the real strain that our military is currently under), but he's in a fantasy world as far as his definition of "success" in Iraq.

Bottom Line, McWarmonger says troops in Iraq are well below pre-surge levels. Not so there are over 150,000 troops there now and before the surge that hasn't worked there were 130,000 troops. The surge, what a ploy. Iraq is still in chaos and the so-called green zone still get attacked and people are dying everyday. Define what is means for the surge to be a success you dipshit.
