  • the mitten on the left is EXACTLY what I am trying to do. I can do everything except place the thumb inside a bit like you have and not directly on the right.... I can do the kitchener stitch too. I decided to offset the kitchener stitch in hopes the thumb would twist inside; it does a little bit, but looks like crap. I still do not see a tutorial on how to do that thumb so that it comes into the palm. Please Please, would you explain how?

  • @bozomahoney If you want to adjust where your thumb is, you can try to move the section of increases for the gusset to the left or the right by a few stitches.

  • @knitpicks ► thank you knitpicks... I was thinking that was how I would do it... just have to write it down, so that I know to do the opposite for the other mitten. Your videos are soooo good. You taught me how to knit and I have been a crocheter for 32 years!!

  • @knitpicks ►►►thanks i will try that - sounds pretty straightforward

  • that three-thumbed mitten is awesome! lol
