  • MMMMmmmmhh.. GOD god damn, to capture the entirety of emotion, the passage of time. Llife is so SO short. Remember the memories. We all will die, so all drink and be merry, {the tribal drums}. Love your parents, friends, mates, weak become heroes. Love it as you can, before we become dust.

  • "my lifes been up and down since i walked from that crowd" I dont know about you guys but mines certainly been up and down since i gave up the wrecklessness, drugs, and clubbing scene. This song evokes fond memories of me being young and care free. I totally identify with his lyrics.

  • Mike Skinner knows the majority of the answers to life but instead of being a prick and boasting about it he just writes music and shares his view with everyone. To me that's a true Hero.

  • Hard to strike what's his best piece of work coz he is so great all over the shot, I suppose I would choose Empty Cans, but I love everything he's ever done.

  • @MsGhostrider12 I read a review on him in NME or something like that and they said his standard has dropped recently... I was so offended, Computer's and Blues is a fantastic offering and so was Everything is Borrowed. The only album I was ever disappointed with was The Hardest Way, but even that had some great music on. Mike Skinner is definitely one of the UK's greatest.

  • @FuzzyJumble I don't bother reading Magazines n all that jazz guy, sod whatever their ratings have gotta say as gar as I'm concerned, and yeah Everything is borrowed is definately one of his greatest tracks. I had all his albums as it goes. Mike Skinner will always be one of UK's greatest. So they saying his standards have dropped are they? Sounds about right! It's not that though is it? It will be more a case of theres only so much an artist can really put out there on a continual front,

  • @FuzzyJumble and Mike Skinner's put out one hell of a lot of music, that will be more what it is rather than his standards dropping. I won't ever bother to read crappy Magazines, not interested in the bullshit they print guy and wouldn't waste my time reading them, you know what I mean.

  • i want tht lighter......

  • This song was made to drive at night, in the left lane (right lane for you brits) with a chick (bird for you brits) in the passenger seat. Makes 'em melt like butta.

  • Masterpiece

  • The beat just makes my mind work

  • This song makes me sad and happy, because of all the great times i've had so far and that they'll never come back, but thank god I'm still young

  • fully agree there, its hard enough trying to capture and reproduce feelings via music, let alone the feelings of a whole generation.

"stick my middle finger up with regards to the criminal justice bill, for all the hero's i met along the way" - pure genious, gives me shivers listening to it

  • awesome jam

  • never been a more apt song to sum up the feelings of electronic music, from an amazing first album.

  • Love this song.. but it makes me kinda depressed about the way things are these days..

  • This is my tuuuune!

  • In my opinion this is Mike Skinners best piece of work.

    Stunning.

  • @AKGuerilla47 I would find it hard to choose a piece of work that is his best because there are many that are really my favourites just can't choose the one.

  • DEEP SONG

    SPOKEN POETRY
