  • 2:25 knocked the color out of the camera lol

  • Fair play. Early fpv pioneer for sure. That camera could fit in your pocket lol

  • Cessna 180 ?

  • A classic......

  • At first I was like "Woah they even had the micro cameras for RC planes in 1989!?" ... Until I saw that big thing strapped to the bottom.

  • we who fly know crash is part of this hobby and everyone is a critic regardless. the camera was big but i would think the resolution would be better then a smaller one. i hope you do another video and best of luck to ya.

  • The return of Quax.

  • 5.90

  • 5:36 Looks like two turntables and a microphone :)

Just kidding...great video of the "good ole days". Thanks!

  • I think your weight and balance had a lot to do with the crash. When you hooked up the camera it didnt seem rock solid it moved around and if that heavy camera shifts one inch back from CG and it gets tail heavy its almost impossable to fly a tail heavy aircarft.

  • das war also hier in schwarme... =)

  • ever heard of a mini cam lol.... that thing is huge!

  • Good'ol 80's stuff with Sony VHS home camera, 80's haircut and small youngsters moustache!

  • I flew in the late 80s and our gear wasnt the best however pilot error was to blame for the short landing.... some times we have to burn them in...

  • id like to see how the radio looked at that time

  • there was no error in the radio, you just suck at flying rc. Dumbfuck.

  • nice tokyo drifting

  • good job, digging out these old vids. thanks for showing.

    cool vid, I like it!

  • LOL OLLLLDDD SKOOL!!!!

    nice haircut too!!

    man i miss the 80's!~

    great job

  • Wow! Im Juli 89´ gab es sogar noch die DDR. Ob die Grenzer einen solchen Flieger runtergeschossen hätten?

  • Wasn't that bad of a stubid crash. My friend augered his plane three feet into the ground. It totaled the plane, engine and the reciever

  • idiot

  • its july not juli lol

  • Ok - you're right! Thx. ;) In German it's "Juli" - I forgot, that I'd to write English... ;)

  • @valanger thanks for share your videos with us; it's part of RC-history!

  • @Fransais

    its francais not fransais lol

  • @ekoturnip no my name doesnt mean that, i know what u mean but no

  • could i ask you about how big the plane is, what engine it has and how heavy was the camera???

Please, my friend wants me to build a camera carrier, he wants to but a big cam like yours...

  • thats a dinosore of a camera i just buy one of them dijital cameras then you can just put it in side the window part then trying to put that junk thing back on it

  • can`t u read, it´s said, that this was taken in 1989. So this was the only thing possible and it was crazy enough to put something that heavy and expensive under his airplane. Digital Garbage was not thought of at that time.

  • i like your air plan

  • wow u can actually fit a mouse inside the plane

  • Great video! How far we have come!! The new Eco Flycam is 14 grams and is controlled from the transmitter......i have taken some great footage with it.

  • geile klamotten :-) sind wir früher alle so rumgelaufen? *g*

  • i am hopefully going to build one but idont know what type thoe 5* and thanks for posting

  • grass grew back in 1989?

  • Glad to see some things haven't changed. RC Flying is still a moneypit, just more complex!

  • amazing that was more of an achivement than anything today considering technology and weight great vid

  • Great to see some footage from the early days of rc onboard video! Thanks for sharing!

  • y do u do that at the begining?

  • Cant believe that plane took of so easily with that huge camera attached to it. amazing! thanks

  • well done good job

  • very fantastic hystoric video!

  • Great classic video. Great achievement for the 80's!! I still have a cam like that. Still works.

  • Piper cub???? hahahahahaha

The planes name is Big Lift.

Look at the wing, look at the tail, look at the plane.

    U have to be blind!!

    you need only dream.

  • I know this vid is from the 1980's, but did you see the size of that TX at 5:38!?!?

  • Tx size is normal but the tray is big.

  • That was actualy a realy gud vid and u have a nice plane!!! :)

  • Thanks for a very nice show. The view from the sky looked so realistic. Were you able to fix the camera? Thanks for sharing.

  • so nice, i can't believe that there was that much damage with so little impact. very nice video though

  • Yes, the relatively high damage is caused of the heavy weight.

  • gorgeous ancient vid

    PS. : caused by

  • cool plane

  • thanks for sharing the video. I enjoyed it!

    ;-)

  • WOW how long we have come. Now a camera and video transmitter weight 20 grams and cost 1/8 as much.
