i have never heard of flying under IMC before, i have flown in IMC but never under it. if you are under IMC then that would mean you are in vfr conditions retard
I think the airspeed was entirely appropriate for a 172 landing in marginal visibility conditions. The proof is in the smoothness of the landing. Unfortunately, MF uses the same noise on landing no matter how gentle or rough it is. I have hopes that the new Vehicle Simulator program will correct this.
Nicely done! I think the video would look better if it did not have the menu bar at the top. This can be fixed by using a capture program such as Growler Guncan (growlersoftware dot com) or a video editor such as Sony Vegas that allows you to crop the video. Check out my vids made with MF to see what I mean. Good flying you do in this one!
50-55 is still quite slow in some cases. Nearer 65 would probably be more appropriate. 50 is getting dangerously close to stall speed. In the C152 I used to fly at Wellesbourne Mountford in the UK...I was taught to rotate around 55 knots...so you can imagine.
Forgive me my friend, but for various C152s, the stall speeds (Vso mind you) range from 35-47 knots. Tell me, according to what you've said, if you're aiming for a touchdown speed of 65 knots, how are you going to get the plane to settle on the runway if you're about 30 knots above its stall speed?
Plus I worded it badly. 60-65 knots was the rough approach speed at full flaps I was taught. Don't get me wrong I touched down, nearer the bottom end of 60 and the stall warner in most cases sounded right before touchdown. Perhaps it was preferance to fly into a touchdown so to speak, rather than allow for the airspeed to drop off to stall and let the plane fly onto the tarmac. I found they were more comfortable, and my instructor approved =)
Shoot why did I say that, haha I WAS talking to you, mgardiner2725! My mistake. But no worries, you didn't sound sharp at all. I hope I in turn didn't sound sharp! Not my intention either; just like to be helpful with input =)
oh... im not the only one that happens to - everytime I barely steer that plane on microflight it jerks. I thought it was a problem with my joystick sensivity... thx!

@toospeed31 Go get laid you will be less angry and aggressive.
Search flying UNDER IMC or UNDER IFR and you will see, or take some English classes.
No, I will not call you another name back, because there is no word that describes the pity state of your mind.

To avoid pissing people off, put "SIM" or "FLIGHT SIM" in the title so we won't waste your time.

That means you are landing fast. you need to touch down at around 50-55
